The flue gas from boiler is cleaned up by selective catalytic removal (SCR), electrostatic precipitators (ESP), and flue gas desulfurization (FGD) equipment.

MHI Engineering and Industrial Projects is the Licensee of MHI Japan’s Flue Gas Desulfurisation (FGD) plants in India and shall carry out Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of FGD plants.
